Presents  The  Talent  ShoW

Preparations to our first ‘Talent Show’, on Saturday 13th June began weeks earlier with James (Children Activities Manager) enrolling the artists and running weekly practice of their acts: acts such as magicians, singers, dancers, poets etc.  All of the artists were from the local community aged 10-13.

James started off the show with words of encouragement. Then the artists offered a wonderful performance.
Participants were able to enjoy the performances of the following artists: ‘The Zone’ - Solomon Dent (playing guitar) and Olaya Diaz (singing), Vincenzo Punzo (Diablo), Linus Gelhorn and Jordann Webb (magic and humour); Raphael Tindale (art work and poem); Iole Dexter (Solo Street Dance); Courtney Arendse (Acapella ‘Hear Wind’); Jessie Krige (own poetic creations); Jamie Reeves (magic) and finally, Savannah Aqual-Storey (artwork…).

Luthan Oyejobi kindly played the background tunes for the artists and entertained the audience with his DJ skills.

The audience had late lunch before prizes were presented.

Each artist was presented with a Borders Voucher for £5.00.
All gave great performances and were winners. However here are the artists who occupied the first three places:
