The Summer Scheme saw the beginning of various projects organised by Elizabeth House for the local children and young people.
One of the youth projects, Web Designing was run for 12 weeks and the long awaited Elizabeth House (Highbury Vale Blackstock Trust) website was successfully created. The course was run by Mr Simeon Musengimana and Dave Hastings, sponsored by SFIA Educational Trust. The two winners: Adelayo Oyejobi and David Sheck received the prize of £50 each and also ‘The Jack Petchey Achievement Award’ with a prize of £300 each to be used for the Youth Club.

Well Done Boys!
On Friday 19th September the official opening and prize giving took place at the centre. The ceremony was well attended by some of the Trustees, Youth Centre staff, young people and their family members.
The prize was presented by the Chair, Ronit Dassa and Centre Director, Wlad Duda who had organised it all. Students Adelayo Oyejobi and David Sheck were presented with their well-earned prizes. They will also decide how the money for the Youth Club is to be spent.
The short ceremony was followed by the young people and trustees viewing the website and later served with juice and snacks. All agreed that it certainly is a winning website.
